※ About
Built on 35 years
of applied AI.
※ The firm
Knowtomation turns complex data into strategic advantage for businesses that take both seriously.
We're an AI consulting practice founded on a simple premise: most companies don't need more AI — they need the right AI, applied with judgment. From healthcare to high-tech, our work integrates seamlessly into how organizations already operate, positioning them for the next decade of data-driven advantage.
Our solutions aren't templates. Every engagement starts with the question that matters most to the business, then works backward to the model, the data, and the deployment.

Dr. Zunaid Kazi
Founder & Principal
Thirty-five years of building what works.
Dr. Zunaid Kazi has spent more than three decades at the working edge of AI — long before it was fashionable, and through the winter when most of the field walked away.
He began teaching computer science at BUET in 1988 and found his life's work in his first graduate AI course. That was 1990, at the onset of the AI winter. He didn't look away. Six years later he completed a PhD at the University of Delaware, building a multimodal assistive robot that fused natural language, voice, gesture, and planning into a single system — a precursor to the neurosymbolic approaches the field would rediscover decades later. He may be the first Bangladeshi to earn a PhD in AI.
From there: IBM's Thomas J. Watson Research Center, at the frontier of symbolic AI — natural language processing, knowledge representation, and cross-document understanding — followed by leadership roles at Parity Computing and Infolytx.
The thread across thirty-five years hasn't changed: intelligent systems earn their place by being precise, honest, and genuinely useful. The ones built on noise usually make a lot of it on the way down.
Today that conviction runs through everything he does — as Founder & CEO of Knowtomation, advising boardrooms and founder circles on the high-stakes move from AI hype to reliable, mission-critical reality.
※ Speaking & briefings
In the room where it happens.
Beyond building, a large part of the work is advisory — guiding boards, executives, and institutions on the big-picture direction of AI. Dr. Kazi helped found MillionX Bangladesh, a national initiative to bring AI literacy to one million people, and keeps a steady cadence of keynotes, panels, and policy conversations.

※ Core values
What we
stand for.
Innovation
We push the boundary of what AI can do for our clients — and we tell them honestly when the boundary isn't where the value is. Innovation in service of outcomes, not novelty.
Integrity
Transparent methods. Clear tradeoffs. Ethics that are practiced, not posted. We work as advisors first — even when that means telling a client the project they're asking for isn't the project they need.
Impact
Every engagement is tied to a specific, measurable outcome. We define the metric before we touch the model. If we can't name what we're moving, we don't take the work.
